Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Shenzhen-Guangzhou 2013

This is 2nd time of the year for me to travel to the same destination but this round with different people. We set off on our trip via Jetstar, to me it's a pretty decent flight for short trips with families! I really enjoyed this trip, with busy schedules all the way - shopping, eating and taking photos. We always prefer to travel free and easy because it gives us the freedom to choose where we want to visit and skip those that are not suitable for us. Sightseeing is never an option when traveling with my sisters, we are all "Shoppingholics"!

~ 13/11/13 to 21/11/13 ~

••• GUANGZHOU •••
We landed Guangzhou around 10pm at night, thus we spent a night at Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel. Straight after we had our hearty brekkie in the hotel, we took a cab to the city and checked in to Jianguo Hotel, a 5-star hotel with apparent advantage of location, just a 2 minute walking to Guangzhou East Railway Station, where we get connected to the high speed train to Hong Kong. Guangzhou is our first stop and last stop for this trip, with one reason that it is a shoppers' paradise, it's easy to become overwhelmed and we do not know where exactly to begin so a return trip can have us more prepared on what is available and what general prices are to give it a final blow!

••• HONG KONG •••
We rode on a high speed train from Guangzhou to Hong Kong at day 3 of our trip, the journey took us about 2 hours. It was our first time travelling by train in China, so we played it safe by getting the most expensive ticket, hoping that this will translate into a safer, more comfortable ride. And it was money well spent for an ease of mind and hassle free travel. The train were relatively well-kept and the seats in the premium class were spacious and comfortable. We spent 3D2N in Regal Riverside Hotel at Shatin, a 4-star hotel boasts views of Shing Mun River, only a 5 minute walk from Shatin Wai MTR Station where all our crazy shopping and eating sprees begun. Hong Kong, a destination that will never stop us for timeless returning.

••• SHENZHEN •••
Day 5 to 7, we travelled using MTR northward from Hong Kong to Shenzhen and putted up at Grand Mercure Hotel Shenzhen, Futian for 2 nights. This 5-stars hotel offers all the luxury and comforts environment, a truly stylish contemporary residence that we had made a good choice to lodge. I have never visited Shenzhen, and this time around I have an opportunity to take a dip into the city. Shenzhen, filled with non-stop shopping experience! Shenzhen is a bargain. And, if you thought Hong Kong shopping was cheap, Shenzhen will really bring a smile to your wallet.

To me, whatever the journey is, it's not only the destination that matters, but the person that I am traveling with! Our beloved mom, thanks for making this 9D8N trip a memorable ones!

Bangkok-Hong Kong-Macau-Guangzhou 2013

Traveling with business partners can be extremely fun. It can also be stressful, which causes tension. There’s no way to totally eliminate those stressful moments. Yes, they have habits I never knew about and which upset me... That’s okay, they’re probably finding the same out about me! Well, I never let this deter me from having funs with them, the shared experience has brought us closer and strengthen our relationship for a lifetime. All it takes is to compromise and enjoy every moments together!

~ 09/05/2013 to 16/05/2013 ~

••• BANGKOK •••
Pit Stop - Bangkok, my maiden voyage and we took off our journey with Thai Airlines from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. We pampered our night in Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, a brand new 5-star luxury hotel in the city. Since it was a short trip, we did not have much time to explore, it was definitely an amazing acquaintance; and I pledged, I will come by again for a full tour in no time!

••• HONG KONG •••
First Stop - Hong Kong, the Pearl of the Orient left me in awe as it glows at night, illuminating the entire night sky. The sprawling metropolis is a dining heaven and architecture trove. We spent 2 nights in Royal Plaza Hotel Hong Kong, a luxury hotel situated in Mongkok , in the heart of Kowloon.

••• MACAU •••
Next Stop - Macau, another destination for my first time. We had 3D2N stayed at Holiday Inn Cotai, a new integrated resort located in Macau's leisure, shopping, entertainment and event district. Guess what, it's an eye breaking for me to witness the huge and impressive casinos in Macau, it was indeed worth a visit!

••• GUANGZHOU •••
Last Stop - Guangzhou, we have visited most of its tourist attractions during our 2 full day itineraries, alongside with many shopping spree! The hotel we stayed, Holiday Inn Sifu is a good choice because it is just next to the most popular shopping districts. The locals love to walk, to go with the flow we walked from our hotel to the heart of the famous retail malls which are selling all sorts of accessories, clothes and shoes! It took us 30 minute walk, but it's worth a walk, all of us were so fulfilling!

Thank you Maxis for giving me this enduring "shop and eat" experience with great people! We ended our 8D7N China Tour with loads of good memories!

Legoland Msia 2012

All of us, the staff and the family of Canon Marketing Malaysia are so inspired when we received the good news that we will be given free pre-opening LEGOLAND Malaysia tickets to acquaintance the sneak preview funs together! Especially me, I am super excited because playing with Lego has been one of my dreamt favorite activities for longs.

Legoland Malaysia is the first international theme park in Malaysia and it is a fantastic place for families with 7 main parks, over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions. Getting to Legoland is easy, you don’t really need a GPS to get there because the signages to Legoland are tagged brown to denote a tourist attraction, which I thought it was a cool touch. But just in case you need it, here are the GPS coordinates, http://goo.gl/maps/kwx50.

Of all the amusement and theme parks, Legoland Malaysia is the most colorful! Nothing compares to its vibrant bricks that directly inspire everyone’s imagination and creativity to build, build and build. Soon after we entered the park, we felt we stepped into one of a childhood’s dreams! The moment was euphoric!

We had brunch at Market Restaurant. The space was noteworthy, just like the wide array of delicious dishes available. The servings were huge and it is tasteful too. There were a lot more choices plus desserts like cakes available in slices too, however we can only consume as much. Before ending our day, we decided to visit The Big Shop and we bought some souvenirs for ourselves! Thanks Canon for giving us this fascinating adventure! We cannot wait to stand under these arches again!

Sydney Australia 2012

SYDNEY is known as the Harbour City. It is one of the most amazing City in Australia, and is state capital of New South Wales (NSW). The city is also home to the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, two of the most iconic structures on the planet.

We took off our journey from Singapore by Scoot Airlines and we arrived Kingsford Airport Sydney around 7 in the morning. I was extremely excited because I wanted to start exploring the city as soon as possible. Thankfully to my cousin Rebecca who picked us up from the airport and drive us around during this trip. We spent our 8 days staying in Wollongong, a seaside city located in the Illawarra region of NSW.

The thing that one cannot miss in Sydney is the amazing night life. Sydney also experiences a temperate climate which includes warm summers and mild winters. The pleasant climate plus the beautiful landscape make Sydney one of the hottest tourist spot in Australia. Once visited this place it would get such an amazing feeling that cannot even think of leaving this city; Just be prepared to love every second of hour in Sydney!

Pulau Ubin Spore 2011

PULAU UBIN is the last 'kampung' (village) in Singapore. It is an offshore island off the eastern side of Singapore, and has one of the most luxurious wildlife habitats, ranging from the rainforest to swamps. The common activities are cycling, trekking or just pure exploration. For me, a stroll through Ubin takes with the simpler pleasures of life!

The slow lane starts as soon as we join the queue for the bumboat at Changi. The bumboat ride took us 15 minutes to reach Ubin and during the ride, we get to see beautiful view and scenery. We are lucky that day because the weather is just too lovely! As we arrive, all cares are left behind. Ubin is a great short trip spent walking or pedaling through rustic roads under swaying coconut palms, exploring shady trails in overgrown rubber plantations, checking out secluded beaches and flourishing mangroves. On Ubin, air is fresher, the sights and sounds are so soothing to the soul.

Thanks to my eldest sister who had arranged this fond memories short getaway for us! It's indeed a lovely place for experiencing from an undistinguished!
